Inch’s Cider
Just wrapped a four-day lifestyle shoot for Inch’s Cider—great crew, great vibes… and yes, the cider’s actually delicious!

Last week, I had the pleasure of working as a featured walk-on for a new lifestyle-based advertisement for Inch’s Cider, part of the Heineken family.
The shoot took place over four days in Northeast London, and I have to say—it was one of the most creatively inspiring sets I’ve had the privilege to be part of. The production team and crew were incredibly talented and welcoming, and the atmosphere on set was full of energy and collaboration. The venue itself was impressive, offering a wide range of different sets and spaces, which really helped bring the campaign’s concept to life.
As with most food and drink shoots, the drinks we were working with weren’t exactly made for sipping during takes. The team was busy adding elements to make them visually perfect for the camera. So, while I didn’t actually get to taste the cider during filming, I made sure to try it at the end of the shoot—and I’m glad I did. It’s genuinely refreshing and has a great flavour.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience with a great creative team, and I’m thrilled to have been part of such a compelling lifestyle campaign.
An added surprise is that Kirsty Howe, with whom I did the short film Perfect Repair in 2022 was also on the shoot!

Working with Charles
“You really were our perfect Joe. Your performance was so on point, you beautifully delivered a very complex character arc. We see so many layers within the version of Joe you have brought to the screen. His humanity, his guilt , his arrogance , his fear. Everything is portrayed with such subtlety but translates so effectively!
I am so thrilled that we cast you. You were an absolute pleasure to work with, fantastic to creatively bounce off of , and I am just so glad that you understood the character so deeply. You are a gifted actor.”
